Greetings all, My name is Rebecca, I live in Kentucky, and about two weeks ago I got my very first poodle. She is a little apricot colored baby and we have named her Shasta. She is ten weeks old and weighs 3 pounds. Getting this little doll is a very big deal for us, We have a large elderly beagle named Tango, have mostly had beagles in the past, except for a rescue schnorkie we got at the pound long ago as a companion for one of our beagles who had terrible separation anxiety. Our Schnorkie, "Lil Girl", was actually an older dog when we got her. She was about ten pounds. I was meaning to get a larger poodle, was looking at miniatures and standards, never really meant to get something this tiny, and mercy she is tiny, but I went ahead and said they are popular for a reason, and I wanted a poodle because they are so smart. She is just now after two weeks really blossoming. She was rather timid, and still is, but getting bolder every day. I am looking forward to this adventure into the world of poodles. I am hoping I can train her up right! I am looking forward to learning from all of you and benefitting from your experience. Smile
